The Dance Review - Kyle Taylor Reports on the U21 Solo Ballroom at the All England Championships 2025

1st: Evie Rush

Fresh into the Adult category, and immediately establishing herself as the Champion. Evie is an exceptional talent, who has the perfect balance between power, softness, dynamics, and control. A very convincing win today, and no doubt with many more victories to come.

2nd: Keira Feldon

Keira is a very nice, soft dancer, who is at her best in a final situation. The main issue which arises, is that Keira is often quiet on the floor, and can lose impact. A little more changes in speed and power would help to bring out this performance side even more. But, certainly one of the best technical dancers on the floor.

3rd: Clarice Hartwell

Clarice danced a very consistent competition today, and was extremely strong and solid in her movement. Clarice’s upper body action could be developed further, as there is a little look of being ‘safe’. But always a very markable and reliable dancer indeed.

4th: Abigail Care

Abigail improves each and every time I see her, and competes very well. Also very new into the adult category, but looking extremely at home. I thought Abigail was unlucky with her result, as I saw a very strong base, coupled with great upper body usage. Keep up the good work!

5th: Natalia de Fazio

6th: Nina Dzikowska

I thought this was a much improved Nina! I could see a marked difference in her posture, which used to be her largest downfall. In addition, I noted that Nina’s overall image also appeared more mature and full, which made her look expensive. From a dancing point of view, the next stage of development could be in the feet, which are often under utilised. But well done on some very positive changes!
